There have been reactions to a TikTok post by a young lady who upon graduating from the Federal Polytechnic, Nekede in Imo state claimed her pussy saw her succeeding and finishing school at the institution.
She said, “Omo, today is the final day. Nekede bye-bye, this stress ends today. Finally, I’m now a graduate of Federal Polytechnic, Nekede. It can only be God and my puxxy.”
Let’s call her Miss Nekede, spare her name from being repeated.
I think Miss Nekede is honest! She is also dumb!
If she had been smart, even if she used her puxxy for grades, she would never make that admission on a post. I mean who boasts about their bottom power? Those who engage in it would deny it to the high heavens and yet, this nitwit goes on social media and announces it to the world.
I agree she didn’t succeed by anything other than her puxxy. That she added “God” to the mix is a Nigerian thing and shouldn’t be seen as anything but. Politicians stealing the people blind call on “God.” Robbers who go to rape and loot call on “God” using pastors and imams. People who use humans for rituals call on “God” even when they behead their victims. I remember the case of an armed robber after he was caught, said he robbed so he could set up a church! I mean, that’s the kind of god Nigerians call on. It’s a Nigerian speak, it means nothing.
Miss Nekede Poly is just dumb
You see, the real God isn’t to be mocked but this isn’t Sermon on the Mount, let God fight His own battle.
Now, Miss Nekede didn’t have the sense to consider the odds… what if my parents see it?
What if the school sees it and revoke my certificate?
How about if my colleagues see it?
What if the place I am posted to work at, see it?
What if my boyfriend sees it?
Now that a lawyer has come out to claim Miss Nekeda made a slip of tongue, saying she meant to say, “It can only be God and my “father.”
We can only yimu and tell her lawyer to continue lying.
But wait!
What if she isn’t as dumb as we think? No forget the lawyer’s theory.
What if, she used the best platform to “catch clout” as they say on social media?
Miss Nekede may be “dumb” but she may also have discovered the best way to grow her followership, aka catching clout. The “dumb” girls who post their naked breasts, their bums, and their cleavages online, all in the name of showing off their assets are no better than Miss Nekede, nor smarter, for that matter.
These girls get millions of views and shares.
We scream at their audacity but share their posts!
They seem to understand that notoriety gets our attention; they often intentionally shock us and they get views such that, if the numbers are good enough, it can soon begin to translate to hard currency.
Yeah!
So maybe Miss Nekede isn’t as totally dumb as we think she is. Could be she was trying out her chance at the rest of us who feed on social media. Those of us who delight in secretly watching sex acts and pretend to be saints.
Some of us who will vote for Big Brother Naija housemates who have sex on TV. Those of us who would quickly vote for the obscene in the privacy of our rooms versus a worthy cause in pubic.
Chasing clout and winning
Miss Nekede, has found the best way to grow followership and followership, can often translate to money. Maybe in a few weeks’ time, a few months or even years, she goes on Big Brother show. She engages in sex or lets us see her in the bathroom naked…and before you know it, Miss Nekede wins N25million! (Who knows the going prize for BB Naija these days?)
My point is, the many so-called social influencers with banging boobs and bums, like Miss Nekede used hers; to access doors to anything they want. Grades, cash, positions, et al, choose.
While some of us may express utter shock, I doubt that the majority don’t have scarier skeletons in their cupboards.
So is this to vindicate Miss Nekede?
No. she is dumb.
The boobs will fall and so will the bum…what happens afterwards?
However, Miss Nekede like many f her ilk doo what they do because there is a growing community of young women, who make it by using their bodies to climb the social, educational, and career ladder…and it has been from of old. It has been sustained over the years too, by the rest of us who applaud them!
The way I see it, until we begin to push and share, sponsor and applaud posts that promote skill, creativity, and talent. Until we expend energy on posts that uplift the dignity of labour…until then Miss Nekede’s reign will be long.
