Harry Redknapp has urged Tottenham to ‘get after Ajax early from the first whistle’ ahead of the sides’ Champions League semi-final first leg.
Ajax have earned a reputation as the Champions League’s giant killers after knocking both Real Madrid and Juventus out of the competition and Mauricio Pochettino is under no illusions with regards to the challenge that awaits Spurs.
Tottenham’s offensive options are limited with Harry Kane out injured and Son Heung-min suspended for Thursday’s clash in London and Redknapp believes Pochettino will be missing the duo.
However, Redknapp is confident the likes of Fernando Llorente and Dele Alli can cause Ajax problems if they attack their Dutch opposition from the get-go. Read more
