Women are wicked
I’ll say it again, women are wicked!
Why am I so bitter, I was used, I was used by a woman to get at her ex-boyfriend.
When I met Misan, she had just left a long time relationship with one dude called Francis. I never met Francis before my relationship with Misan began, so it’s not like I snatched her from him, no. we met at a mutual friend’s wedding. We all sat on the same table and wore the aso ebi of the friend that invited us. We were all introduced to one another, though some of us were already familiar with the others but you know, there’ll be one or two persons who would be meeting for the first time, that was Misan and I. incidentally, our friend, a former course mate of mine chipped in when it seemed the party was over that I would help her drop off Misan at Magodo, since I lived in Magodo.
When it was time to leave, I asked her if she was ready, she said she was and we left. I honestly had no intention of asking her out or anything because I had also just ended a relationship, I wasn’t in the mood for another.
In the car, I asked Misan how she met our mutual friend, she said she was friends with the bride, actually, who was a younger sister to our mutual friend. I then asked her why she wasn’t part of the bridal train, she said it was a long story.
I told her we had time and she told me, “Long story short, I almost didn’t come for this wedding because mine was meant to have held before today’s. It ended when he married someone else and I went through a lot, it was Sister Flora, (our mutual friend) who is like a senior sister to me, she persuaded me to attend as her guest and so…”
Misan was crying as she told her brief story. I parked the car and let her cry.
I told her I too had just ended a relationship and I knew exactly what she felt…do I need to tell you what happened next?
We exchanged numbers, I called every day to check on her…that was 2 years plus ago.
But two months after we met, we got careless and well…we had sex! We were two hurting people.
Now, like I said, I wasn’t looking for a relationship, I’m not sure she herself wasn’t; so, when we had that thing between us…I decided I didn’t want this to be another relationship. If we were going to be a couple, it shouldn’t be because we wanted to pepper our ex-es.
She was always talking about her ex-, I was equally talking about mine…we wanted to show the ex-es we had moved on…but we were not each other’s type…you know.
A few days after that “thing,” I travelled out, three months after, while still abroad, Covid happened, I got trapped abroad…not that I minded sha. But there was nothing tying me to Naija, so I stayed. I have a 10 year visa…so, and I mostly work remotely…
I didn’t check on Misan, neither did I even tell her I was travelling, when I did…there was no need to. I wasn’t dating her, I wasn’t obligated to report my movements to her, so you see, I’m not the cold heart she labelled me.
How did I know I was labelled?
Some months after, maybe one year later, in fact, back, our mutual friend, the one Flora, who’s sister’s wedding I attended and met Misan, responded to someone who was also abroad, on our Whatsapp Class Group chat, that some people impregnate small girls and run away abroad. I hope you don’t have a baby mama waiting for you in naija”
I didn’t even know I was the one she was referring to, not until another former course mate private chatted me a few days later, that I was the one ‘smelling.’
I was shocked o.
I then called the Flora and asked her what she was talking about. She went this way and that way, laslas, said I impregnated Misan and took off. I found out I had a two and a half year old son!
I couldn’t even convince Flora I knew nothing about the child!
I then began to make efforts to reach Misan but was blocked. Like I said, we never had what you can call a relationship. I didn’t know her friends or sisters or family…I didn’t know anyone, so the only link was my old course mate who had taken it upon herself to label me bad.
I didn’t agree that I could have fathered a child because I reasoned that if Misan discovered she had gotten pregnant, she had my number, she could have called me. At least my WhatsApp works even after I changed my sim to the region I was at. Even so, my WhatsApp still works.
Why didn’t she contact me?
Women would usually tell whoever is responsible for their pregnancy, it is then left with the guy to agree or disagree, no bi so?
Well, I came back into the country a few months ago and went to Misan’s house…I was barred by her father; her family said I couldn’t not go in. They lived in an estate where you have to call at the gate before you are let in.
I told them I had come because I was told I had a son…
They refused, they said the boy isn’t mine! They said he belonged to her ex-the one who broke up with her and married another lady instead.
I did my calculation based on what Flora told me; the boy is mine!
See o, some men are doing DNA to deny the children their women birthed for them, I’m going to do DNA to claim him…see this life no balance!
They won’t even let me see Misan.
I will go to the police and we will get to the bottom of this! If the boy is mine, I want him. If not, why all the barricade around him?
