From Jude Bellingham to Harvey Elliott, England’s 2003-born generation is one of the most promising group of young players to have emerged in recent years.
With Elliott already among Liverpool’s ranks and the club eyeing Jude Bellingham, Liverpool vest a great deal of interest in the group.
Fellow 2003-born midfielder, Aston Villa’s Carney Chukwuemeka, is believed to be on par with Elliott and Bellingham.
“We have one right now, probably the best 16-year-old in England, Carney [Chukwuemeka],” Villa CEO and ex-Liverpool managing director, Christian Purslow, told the club’s Supporters’ Trust AGM back in 2019. (Liverpool)
