Embattled singer Portable has pleaded for help after being declared wanted by the Ogun State Police Command.
In a heartfelt plea via videos on Instagram, Portable shared his side of the story, denying any wrongdoing and claiming heโs being targeted by evil individuals.
Portable expressed his frustration and fear, stating that heโs being persecuted despite being a law-abiding citizen who makes a living from his music.
He emphasised that heโs not a thief or a killer and that he waits for his blessings while also blessing others.
The singer also revealed that heโs being intimidated by unknown persons who showed up at his house, ordering him to vacate.
Portable claimed that heโs not a troublemaker, but rather a superstar whoโs being targeted by those who envy his success.
Portable further revealed that heโs a patient at Aro Hospital, where he receives treatment for his mental health.
He shared that heโs been certified as a patient and has a card to prove it.
The singer appealed to the government and the public to intervene in his case, stating that heโs afraid of being locked up and is currently experiencing physical pain.
Portable said: โNigeria, this is when I need you peopleโs help. Thereโs no place like home, but ev!l people full home. Why only me? Why do I have issues in Nigeria? I do music for a living, Iโm not a thief, I donโt kill people. I wait for my blessing. I bless people too. I donโt make trouble. People look for my troubles, Iโm a superstar. God forgive me if I do any bad. After God, na government. They set me up with the government. I donโt have any issues with the government or police. Some people just came to my house, telling me to pack out. Iโm not a criminal. Iโm not feeling fine. And Iโm afraid. I donโt want them to lock me up. Iโm going through pain all over my body. Iโm a Federal Government liability. I didnโt go to school, Iโm a fashion designer.
โI fear the government. I am a federal government liability. Then Iโm a madman; I have medications that I usually take. You can confirm from Aro Hospital. I have a card that certifies me as one of their patients.
โI am from Abeokuta and they are taking care of me there. I am not a thief, I help people around me without even looking at their background.โ (TheNation)
