Regina Hall is definitely pushing the envelope in Hollywood. The American actress On Thursday became the first black woman in the New York Film Critics Circle’s 83-year history of the association.
The actress was a recipient of the award for her role in the Magnolia Pictures comedy, Support The Girls, released earlier this year.
Also, Regina King won Best Supporting Actress for her role as Sharon Rivers in Barry Jenkins’ adaptation of James Baldwin’s If Beale Street Could Talk.
