President Bola Tinubu has congratulated Chief Arthur Christopher Mbanefo, a renowned elder statesman, on his 94th birthday.

Chief Mbanefo, a distinguished Nigerian, has served as the countryโ€™s Permanent Representative to the United Nations and Pro-Chancellor of the Universities of Lagos, Obafemi Awolowo, and Ahmadu Bello.

He is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria.

In a statement issued on Monday, June 10, by his special adviser on media and publicity, Ajuri Ngelale, President Tinubu praised Chief Mbanefo as a man of exceptional integrity, hard work, and patriotism, hailing from a vintage class of statesmen.

The president expressed his admiration for the accomplished accountant and administrator, describing him as one of the finest stock of Nigeriaโ€™s statesmen.
